FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 1, 2016 PRESS RELEASE FORMER EMPLOYEE FILES SUIT AGAINST WRIGHT AUTOMOTIVE GROUP FOR BREACH OF CONTRACT AND WAGE PAYMENT VIOLATIONS PITTSBURGH, PA, January 18, 2016 – Thomas Baverso filed a suit for breach of contract as well as violation of Pennsylvania’s Wage Payment and Collection Law against Wright Automotive Group.
Mr. Baverso relocated to the Western Pennsylvania region after receiving a job offer for a sales position with Wright Automotive Group. At the time he accepted the offer, he had a competing offer which Wright Automotive agreed to match.
Instead, Wright Automotive breached the oral contract between it and Mr. Baverso. Wright Automotive Group did not pay Mr. Baverso’s agreed upon compensation for months. Mr. Baverso was told it would be discussed later.
Despite notifying the company that it was breaching their agreement and violating the law numerous times, Wright Automotive never took any steps to correct its failure to pay Mr. Baverso the full amount he was entitled. Mr. Baverso eventually resigned from his position due to the disparity between what he was told he would be paid and what he actually was paid.
Mr. Baverso is represented by Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC, a Pittsburgh-based law firm focused on representing employees and protecting employee rights. The attorney on this case is Elizabeth Pollock-Avery, Esq.
The case was filed in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas. A digital copy of the filed complaint is available here:Baverso v. Wright Automotive Group Complaint
