Kraemer, Manes & Associates, LLC “KM&A” has filed a complaint against Eaton Corporation in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas, Arbitration Division. The Eaton Corporation is headquartered in Ohio, and employs a number of people in Moon Township, Pennsylvania.
The complaint alleges that Eaton violated the Wage Payment and Collection Law, Act of 1961, Public Law 637, Number 329. Mr. Pollitt alleges in the complaint that he earned a bonus in 2014, but Eaton Corporation refused to pay the bonus and terminated him in 2015. Mr. Pollitt, through KM&A, successfully defended against allegations of “willful misconduct” before the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review. This supposed misconduct, which Eaton Corporation failed to prove in the hearing, was and continues to be the basis for their refusal to pay Mr. Pollitt the bonus that the complaint alleges he is due.
