Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC “KM&A” has filed a complaint against Lighthouse Medical in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
The complaint alleges that Plaintiff was terminated in violation of the Family Medical and Leave Act (FMLA), Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII) and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA). Plaintiff went on maternity leave and upon return she was fired. Plaintiff was retaliated against for taking FMLA to have a child. Plaintiff was told the company was downsizing yet Lighthouse Medical kept several new employees on after Plaintiff was terminated.
