FOR WRONGFUL TERMINATION UNIONTOWN, PA, December 16, 2015 – Terry Rugola filed a wrongful termination suit against MEPCO, Inc. alleging wrongful termination due to Mr. Rugola’s request for time off for jury duty.
Mr. Rugola, an eight year employee of MEPCO, Inc.was terminated on March 2, 2015 after requesting time off for jury duty. A graveyard shift employee, Mr. Rugola tried to discuss the logistics of the day off with his manager, who became enraged and aggressive, even slamming a door in Mr. Rugola’s face.
Mr. Rugola’s termination was directly related to his request for time off for jury duty, an important American institution.
